No. 147 - Matilda Bandana

The colors on this bandana are way more vivid in person than I expected from the photos — the paintbrush pattern feels like a little piece of actual art. I've mostly been wearing it knotted at my neck, but it's light enough that I forget it's there.

Tied it around my hair for a weekend market trip and got stopped twice asking where it came from. The painted pattern has this bold, almost abstract feel that doesn't look like a mass-printed bandana at all.

I wore Matilda knotted in my hair for a whole day out, and the pattern drew compliments from three strangers. The fabric is light enough to forget it’s there, but the artwork makes it feel like a tiny painting you carry around.
