Didn't think a tiny clip light would make such a difference, but I finished two chapters in bed last night without my partner stirring once. The beam is warm and narrow enough that it stays on the page instead of lighting up the whole room. Recharging over USB means I've stopped hunting for batterie

The clip is strong enough to grip a thick hardcover without slipping, and the light stays where I aim it. Read two chapters in bed next to my sleeping wife and she didn't stir once.

The rechargeable battery is the best part — I've stopped hunting for AAA batteries every other week. Light is a bit brighter than I need on the lowest setting, but it doesn't wake my husband, so it stays.
